Stepan Company completed the acquisition of a surfactant business from PerformanX.

Stepan Company, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, completed the acquisition of a surfactant business from PerformanX, a producer of surfactants and related chemistries. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Alkoxylates are a core surfactant technology critical to Stepan's agriculture, oilfield, construction and household end use markets.
