JS Foundry K.K. to acquire a wafer manufacturing facility in Niigata from Onsemi.

JS Foundry K.K., a Japanese based foundry company, agreed to acquire a wafer manufacturing facility in Niigata from Onsemi, a semiconductor supplier company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The sale of the facility was part of the Onesemi’s plan to optimise its manufacturing footprint and sharpen its focus on highly differentiated power, analog and sensor products.
