Västanhede agreed to acquire RP Charter, a commercial bus operations business operating under Merresor brand, from Transdev Sverige, an operator of public transportation vehicles and facilities. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are happy to announce that Västanhede is taking over as the new owner. They have solid experience from the industry and have good opportunities to continue developing the business, especially now that we see the market growing again after a couple of tough years. We already have a good cooperation with Västanhede and I feel extra happy that our employees are coming to a company with a strong owner with extensive experience in commercial bus traffic," Jörgen Karlsson, Transdev Business Area Director.
