Virtus Investment Partners to acquire AlphaSimplex from Natixis Investment Managers.

Virtus Investment Partners, a multi-boutique asset management busines, agreed to acquire AlphaSimplex, a manager of liquid alternative investment solutions, from Natixis Investment Managers, an American French-based global asset management company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "AlphaSimplex brings distinctive alternative investment capabilities that complement our broad offerings of traditional as well as other liquid alternative strategies," George R.
