Astorg Partners-backed Normec Group completed the acquisition of Abiolab.

Astorg Partners-backed Normec Group, an independent organisation that focuses on Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance, completed the acquisition of Abiolab, a biochemistry lab in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin, France. Financial terms were not disclosed. Abiolab has 100 employees, including 75 in Montbonnot-Saint-Martin. The main laboratory focuses on 3 different categories: Food, Environment (water and air) and Health. The other three laboratories focus exclusively on water testing and are only responsible for the operational activities of testing. With Abiolab, Normec Foodcare takes its first step in France.
