Sony Pictures to acquire Pixomondo from Mayfair Equity Partners.

Sony Pictures Entertainment, a media company, agreed to acquire Pixomondo, a visual effects company, from Mayfair Equity Partners, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Sony’s legacy, and creativity-driven technology strategy, mean that our company has found a home where it can truly thrive.
