Austrian Federal Railways completed the acquisition of a 33.4% stake in Railtour Suisse from DER Touristik Suisse.

Austrian Federal Railways, the national railway system of Austria, completed the acquisition of a 33.4% stake in Railtour Suisse, a rail tour operator, from DER Touristik Suisse, a Swiss tourism company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The fact that the existing cooperation with ÖBB is now also reflected in Railtour's ownership structure enables us to actively help shape the future of rail travel from the tour operator's point of view," Dieter Zümpel, DER Touristik Suisse CEO.
