VillageMD, a value-based primary care provider, completed the acquisition of Summit Health-CityMD, a provider of primary, specialty and urgent care, for $8.9bn. The transaction includes investments from Walgreens Boots Alliance and Cigna-backed Evernorth. "This is an epic milestone in our journey to transform healthcare in the United States.
