Global Infrastructure Partners-backed SAAVI Energía, an electric utility company in Mexico City, Mexico, completed the acquisition of Tierra Mojada, an 874MW combined cycle plant, located in the state of Jalisco, from Blackstone-backed Fisterra Energy, an energy company specialized in energy infrastructure investments. Financial terms were not disclosed. In addition to representing a substantial increase in the company's generation portfolio, this acquisition is proof of SAAVI's commitment to the energy sector and the economic future of Mexico.
