Apollo Hospitals completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Faber Sindoori from UEM Edgenta.

Synopsis

Apollo Hospitals, a hospital chain group, completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Faber Sindoori, a facility management services provider, from UEM Edgenta, a asset management and infrastructure solutions group. Financial terms were not disclosed. Having already held 49% in the joint venture, Apollo Sindoori now owns 100% stake in Faber Sindoori. The joint venture was formed about 15 years ago, when the Malaysia-based UEM Edgenta was looking to enter India. With Apollo already having a network of hospitals under its management, the two entities joined hand to launch Faber Sindoori.
