Synopsis
Infranode, a company invests responsibly and long-term in essential infrastructure in the Nordic region, agreed to acquire Sola Bredbånd, a company develops, owns, and operates a network of fiber for broadband services, for NOK515m. "Sola Bredbånd has ensured Solabuer broadband coverage since the internet's infancy, but now the time has come to pass on the baton. We have a great responsibility to manage these funds wisely, soberly and responsibly on behalf of the citizens. With Infranode on the ownership side, we are sure that solar arches will have a double upside: a fast fiber network, and better public services," Tom Henning Slethei, Sola kommune mayor.
