Conuma Resources to acquire Quintette steelmaking coal mine from Teck Resources for C$120m.

Conuma Resources, a steelmaking coal producer, agreed to acquire Quintette steelmaking coal mine from Teck Resources, a diversified metals and mining company, for C$120m ($88m). Closing of the transaction, expected to occur in the first quarter of 2023, is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Quintette has been on care and maintenance since 2000.
