International Finance Corporation, an international financial institution that offers investment, advisory, and asset-management services to encourage private-sector development in less developed countries, completed the acquisition of a 10% stake in Doverie, a shareholding company that provides acquisition, management, and sales services, from Vienna Insurance Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. "As part of our VIG 25 strategy program, we are intensifying our involvement in the pension fund business, where we see continued great potential for growth. With IFC's global expertise in this area, we can jointly continue to help strengthen private pension provision in Bulgaria," Peter Höfinger, VIG Country Manager for Bulgaria.
