Hillhouse Capital, a private equity firm, CICC, a state-owned multinational investment management and financial services company, and Ori-Mind Capital, a boutique investment banking that focuses on new energy, semiconductor, and other industrial investments, led a $216m Series B funding round in Chint Solar, a clean energy solution provider. The fresh capital, which will help the firm expand its production capacity.
