Hispasat to acquire Grupo Sylvestris.

Hispasat, a Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, agreed to acquire Grupo Sylvestris, an environmental engineering company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very proud to participate with the Repsol Foundation and Grupo Sylvestris in an initiative for the sustainable development of our country that is as significant as Green Engine. Green Engine is a project that will allow us to combine satellite applications with a major innovative component that could be deployed at any point under our coverage footprint,” Jordi Hereu, Hispasat President.
