Qatar Investment Authority, a sovereign wealth fund, agreed to invest $150m in Providence-backed North Road, an independent studio that produces the TV series. “There will be plenty of opportunities. Rather than find an opportunity we don’t have money for, we’d rather have enough of a bankroll that we have flexibility," Peter Chernin, North Road Chairman and CEO.
