Nala Renewables, an investor in solar, wind and power storage projects, completed the spin-off of Swift Current Energy, a partner-owned renewable energy company. Financial terms were not disclosed. Nala Renewables will continue to focus on investing in projects that complement its existing portfolios to create scale and a deeper country presence. By 2025, Nala Renewables’ aim is to build a global portfolio of renewable energy projects with a cumulative generative capacity of four gigawatts to be operating, in construction, or in late-stage development. The company already owns and is developing assets in Belgium, Chile, France, the Netherlands, Poland and the US.
