Oji Holdings completed the acquisition of IPI from Coesia.

Synopsis

Oji Holdings, a Japanese paper products technology company, completed the acquisition of IPI, a supplier of aseptic carton packaging for the beverage and liquid food industry, from Coesia, a group of innovation-based industrial and packaging solution companies. Financial terms were not disclosed. IPI, which has been part of Coesia since 2013, employs 170 people and generated sales in 2022 of approximately €65m. The Company provides packaging materials, state-of-the-art aseptic filling machines and tailored technical service support, and operates in over 50 countries, IPI packaging, due to its multilayer structure, is primarily used for milk and dairy products, non-carbonated soft drinks such as fruit juices, wine, and spirits, in addition to liquid foods such as soups, tomato sauce and other sauces.
