New Deal

Announced

Aberdeen Infrastructure and Vauban to acquire the remaining 5% stake in AP-46 toll motorway from Sacyr for €90m.

Synopsis

Aberdeen Infrastructure, a British fund, and Vauban, a French fund, agreed to acquire the remaining 5% stake in AP-46 toll motorway from Sacyr, a Spanish infrastructure operator and developer company based in Madrid, for €90m. The 5% divestment fits into Sacyr's strategy of rotating its mature concession assets. In recent years, it has obtained resources with sales such as 49% of seven concessions in Chile to the Toesca fund or 17.5% of Itínere to APG and funds managed by Corsair. It has also divested in other areas, such as its cogeneration and biomass plants in Spain, acquired by the SDCL fund, water assets in Portugal or its construction business in Africa.
