Silver Lake-backed Diamond Baseball, an organization that owns and operates select minor league clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball, agreed to acquire Lansing Lugnuts, a Minor League Baseball team, from Take Me Out to the Ballgame, a company that promote professional and semiprofessional athletic clubs and events. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The Lugnuts have been one of the great joys in my life. It is a bittersweet decision to sell the team.
