Silver Lake-backed Diamond Baseball to acquire Salem Red Sox from Fenway Sports.

Silver Lake-backed Diamond Baseball, an organization that owns and operates select minor league clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball, agreed to acquire Salem Red Sox, a Minor League Baseball team, from Fenway Sports, a multinational sports holding conglomerate. Financial terms were not disclose. “We anticipate a smooth transition in the coming weeks and know that DBH puts fans and community first.
