JAB Holding Company-backed Pinnacle Pet Group to acquire HD Assurances.

JAB Holding Company-backed Pinnacle Pet Group, a pan-European pet insurance, agreed to acquire HD Assurances, an animal health insurance broker. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Over the last 20 years, Hubert Derai has successfully created a pet insurance champion in Europe that truly puts pets first. We are thrilled that Hubert will remain with the company, allowing PPG and Assur O'Poil to continue benefiting from his leadership expertise, network and market insights," Dirk Beeckman, JAB pet insurance CEO.
