Nuveen led a $30m funding round in AVIOM India Housing Finance.

Nuveen, a private equity firm, led a $30m funding round in AVIOM India Housing Finance, an affordable housing finance company facilitating families in mostly semi urban areas in realising their dream of owning their first home. “We are delighted to partner with Nuveen. The fundraise will propel the company’s loan book and expand its operations into newer geographies to meaningfully support low-income households. With this, we propose to extend financial assistance to around 60,000+ families in the next FY by disbursing approximately INR12bn,” Kajal Ilmi, AVIOM India Housing Finance Managing Director and CEO.
