Sumitomo Mitsui Banking, a Japanese multinational banking and financial services institution, completed the acquisition of a minority stake in Vitesse Energy, a company focused on returning capital to stockholders through owning financial interests as a non-operator in oil and gas wells drilled by leading US operators. Financial terms were not disclosed.
