JERA, NTT to acquire Green Power Investment from Pattern Energy Group for c. $2.18bn.

Energy companies JERA and NTT, agreed to acquire Green Power Investment, a renewable energy company, from Pattern Energy Group, a developer of renewable energy facilities, for c. $2.18bn. “Through GPI, we together with NTT Anode Energy will expand renewable energy businesses in Japan. Also, we will create synergies in offshore wind power businesses as part of our global strategy. Furthermore, we expect to strengthen our relationship with NTT group in the future," Yukio Kani, JERA Chairman and Global CEO.
