Merit Medical, a manufacturer and marketer of healthcare technology, completed the acquisition of Surfacer Inside-Out Access Catheter System, a technology used to to obtain right-sided central venous access in patients with venous obstructions, from Bluegrass Vascular Technologies, a medical equipment manufacturer, for $32.5m. “We are selectively investing to expand our product portfolio in key strategic markets that leverage our existing commercial footprint.
