Synopsis

Edit

Eiffage, a French civil engineering construction company, agreed to acquire the remaining 49% stake in the Millau Viaduct from Banque des Territoires, one of the five businesses of Caisse des Dépôts, for €236m. This is a sign of Eiffage’s attachment to this major work of 21st-century architecture, built by the Group in just three years as part of a concession contract ending in 2079. Eiffage has operated the Millau Viaduct since it was commissioned in 2004.
