International Chemical Investors to acquire HCS from H.I.G. Capital.

International Chemical Investors, a privately owned industrial group, agreed to acquire HCS, an international supplier of solutions for high-value hydrocarbon specialties, from H.I.G. Capital, a global alternative assets investment firm.Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to acquire HCS Group forming a new platform for high-value hydrocarbons and additives within ICIG. The business and the specific capabilities provide the basis for further growth and various add-on acquisition opportunities,” Achim Riemann, ICIG Director.
