Auchan, a grocery retailer, completed the acquisition of DIA Portugal Supermercados, a chain of supermarkets in Portugal, from Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación, a Spanish multinational hard-discount supermarket chain. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This new deal with the Dia Group, following the recent acquisition of stores in Spain, demonstrates the quality of our relationship with this major global retailer," Yves Claude, Auchan Chairman and CEO.
