Sime Darby Berhad to acquire Cavpower Group.
Synopsis
Sime Darby Berhad, a Malaysian trading conglomerate, agreed to acquire Cavpower Group, an official caterpillar dealer for South Australia. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of Cavpower complements our existing portfolio and provides geographic expansion to position our Industrial division in high growth infrastructure and commodity areas of the Australian market,” Jeffri Salim Davidson, Sime Darby Berhad CEO.
