Synopsis

Edit

ArcLight, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire a minority stake in Kleen Energy Systems, a natural gas-fired power plant, from Sojitz, a general trading company and is engaged in a wide range of businesses globally, including manufacturing, selling, importing, and exporting a variety of products. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Kleen builds upon ArcLight's focus on the electrification mega trend and on supporting the energy grid of the future, which we expect to include a complementary mix of renewable resources and reliable, low carbon power infrastructure. The high-quality asset provides critical infrastructure and grid stability services as one of the core power suppliers in the New England market," Dan Revers, ArcLight Managing Partner and Founder.
