Greenvolt to acquire a majority stake in Iberica Renovables.

Greenvolt, a Portugal-based energy production from residual forest biomass company, agreed to acquire a majority stake in Iberica Renovables, a PV cells manufacturer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Through its renewables subsidiary Greenvolt Next, the company will buy stakes representing the majority of the respective share capital of Iberica Renovables. The deal is currently under review by the Portuguese Competition Authority.
