Luminus Management, an investment management firm, led a $38m Series A-1 funding round in Battalion Oil Corporation, an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, production, exploration and development of onshore oil and natural gas properties in the United States, with participation from Oaktree Capital Management and LSP Investment Advisors.
