Octopus Energy, a UK-based retail electricity and gas supplier specialising in sustainable energy, agreed to invest in Deep Wind Offshore, a power company developing a sustainable source of new electricity, powered by offshore wind, balanced by Norwegian hydropower. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The potential for offshore wind is absolutely massive and in many ways we’re only at the start of this burgeoning industry.
