Electricity Generating Public Company, an electric utility holding company, agreed to acquire a stake in Compass Power portfolio,a portfolio of three operational natural gas-fired combined cycle power facilities situated in the Northeast of the U.S., from Starwood Energy Group Global, a private investment firm focused on energy infrastructure. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The Compass Portfolio investment will be an accretive investment which is aligned with EGCO Group’s strategic objective for acquiring high-quality gas-fired power facilities that are profitable and that support global energy transition objectives,” Thepparat Theppitak, EGCO President.
