Polish Ministry of Defense to acquire 486 High Mobility Artillery Rockets Systems from Lockheed Martin.

Polish Ministry of Defense, a government office responsible for the organization and management of the Polish Armed Forces, agreed to acquire 486 High Mobility Artillery Rockets Systems from Lockheed Martin, an American aerospace, arms, defense, information security, and technology corporation with worldwide interests. Financial terms were not disclosed. “I have approved a contract for the acquisition of 486 HIMARS launchers. Together with the batch ordered in 2019, the Polish army will have 500 HIMARS launchers.” Mariusz Błaszczak, Poland Minister of National Defense.
