FAT Brands, a global franchising company, completed the acquisition of Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, a casual dining restaurant chain, from Sun Capital, a private equity firm, for $30m. “We continue to be selective and opportunistic in our acquisition strategy, targeting brands that are both scalable and synergistic with our existing platform.
