Announced

Maritime Partners to acquire Marine Management from Maersk.

Synopsis

Maritime Partners, a provider of maritime leasing and financing solutions, agreed to acquire Marine Management, a company engaged in chartering US flag tanker and military support vessels, from Maersk, an integrated transport and logistics company that operates a fleet including container vessels, tankers, supply ships, special vessels, terminals, and oil drilling rigs. Financial terms were not disclosed. In recent years, Maersk had been de-emphasizing its tanker activities for the MSC, including selling off vessels that had been under MSC charters.
