Thélios and Innova.Tek completed the acquisition of Longarone plant from Safilo Group.

Thélios, designer, producer and distributor of sunglasses and optical frames, and Innova.Tek, a specialist in industrial plant engineering, completed the acquisition of Longarone plant from Safilo Group, a manufacturer of sunglasses and optical frames. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We have worked with determination to reach this agreement which, as hoped, will guarantee the full employment of all the workers in the Longarone plant, allowing for the preservation of the sector’s existing know-how. Despite the complex situation, thanks to the effective support of the Regione Veneto and the Trade Unions, we have been able, together with Thélios and Innovatek, to reach the conditions for the best possible outcome," Angelo Trocchia, Safilo Group CEO.
