AURELIUS-backed ZIM Aircraft Seating completed the acquisition of HAECO Cabin Solutions.

AURELIUS-backed ZIM Aircraft Seating, a manufacturer of passenger seats for commercial aircraft, completed the acquisition of HAECO Cabin Solutions, a business unit of HAECO Group that manufactures Economy and Premium Economy passenger seats. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The combination of ZIM Aircraft Seating and HAECO Cabin Solutions is highly synergistic leveraging the strengths of both organizations. The new organization will have market leading products in every category where it competes. Rarely does an acquisition yield such obvious strategic benefits,” Doug Rasmussen, HCS President.
