Essent to acquire Solar Concept.

Essent, an electricity and gas supplier, agreed to acquire Solar Concept, a company specialises in consulting, sales and installation of solar panels. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very happy that Solar Concept will join our group and are very much looking forward to working with our new colleagues. Despite the fact that the market is challenging at the moment, we are convinced that solar panels will remain an indispensable link for the energy transition. In the future, solar panels, batteries, heat pumps and charging stations will be increasingly aligned. In this way, we keep the energy bill more affordable now and in the future and help the Netherlands to make it more sustainable faster,” Resi Becker, Essent CEO.
