Valgroup to acquire Garda Plast from Progressio SGR.

Valgroup, a company that develops, manufactures and supplies flexible, laminated and rigid packaging products and cartons, agreed to acquire Garda Plast, a provider of plastic preforms that can be turned into bottles by industrial customers, from Progressio SGR, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “During these years of partnership with Progressio, the management team has achieved significant milestones. We dare say that our Group is now an excellence in the industry, important goals has been achieved and many others will be achieved,” Massimo Cutolo, Garda Plast President and CEO.
