Tata Electronics, a greenfield venture of the Tata group, agreed to acquire Wistron InfoComm Manufacturing, a ODM and EMS service provider for Telecom & IT products with complete end to end solution from design to after-sales services, for $125m. "Signing of the Share Purchase Agreement to acquire Wistron InfoComm Manufacturing Private Limited is an important milestone for us. The EMS industry in India is poised for growth given the strong support from the Government, and we are happy to be participating in this growth story,” Randhir Thakur, Tata Electronics CEO and Managing Director.
