Fleming, a specialist run-off reinsurer, completed the acquisition of JRG Reinsurance, a third-party casualty reinsurance business, from James River, a group that owns and operates a group of specialty insurance and reinsurance companies, for $277m. “Today’s announcement represents a key milestone for James River and is strategically significant for both our Company and Fleming.
