Octopus Energy, a UK-based retail electricity and gas supplier specialising in sustainable energy, completed the acquisition of 12.5% stake in Walney offshore wind farm from AIP Management, the investment manager for Danish pension funds PKA and PFA. Financial terms were not disclosed. Walney Extension is operated by Denmark's Orsted, which holds a 50% stake. It has been operational since 2018, producing enough power for nearly 600,000 homes.
