AG Insurance, a specialist in the field of health, life, commercial and liability insurance services, agreed to acquire a 23.29% stake in Nysäter Wind, one of Europe's largest wind farms with 114 turbines with a total output of 475 MW, from Energy Infrastructure Partners, an infrastructure fund. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Investing in a sustainable way is one of the strategic goals we have set for AG. I am very pleased that AG has entered into this promising partnership with EIP and that we have acquired a significant minority stake in the Nysäter project. Earlier this year, AG Insurance exceeded the 10 billion euro mark in investments with a positive impact, and we continue on this path. This new investment shows that we are further expanding our portfolio of sustainable investments," Wim Vermeir, AG Chief Investment Officer.
