Yara International, Yara Clean Ammonia and North Sea Container Line formed a joint venture.

Yara International, a Norwegian chemical company, Yara Clean Ammonia, a multiple ammonia production and consumption sites operator, and North Sea Container Line, a container operator, formed a joint venture to provide Yara Eyde, the first ammonia-powered container ship. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We see an increasing demand from cargo owners to reduce emissions. Yara Eyde offers competi-tive and emission-free logistics to cargo owners," Bente Hetland, North Sea Container Line CEO.
