Admiral Group to acquire the UK direct Personal Lines operations of Intact Financial for £115m.

Admiral Group, a British financial services company, agreed to acquire the UK direct Personal Lines operations of Intact Financial, the largest provider of property and casualty insurance in Canada, for £115m. "The exit from the UK personal lines market sharpens RSA's focus as a leading UK commercial and specialty lines player, accelerating our ability to deliver sustainable outperformance in the UK&I segment," Charles Brindamour, Intact Financial CEO.
