Blackstone-backed Relex Solutions completed the acquisition of Optimity.

Blackstone-backed Relex Solutions, a provider of cutting-edge retail optimization software, completed the acquisition Optimity, a fast-growing software provider specialising in solving complex supply chain planning and optimisation challenges. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The consumer goods industry is incredibly dynamic and complex. Acquiring Optimity will seamlessly link downstream demand with upstream planning, so consumer goods companies can more accurately predict consumer demand, optimise production plans and schedules, adjust inventory levels, and respond quickly to market changes or unexpected disruptions,” Mikko Kärkkäinen, Relex Co-Founder and Group CEO.
