Synopsis

Edit

Madsack, a media group, agreed to acquire a minority stake in DDV media, a group of regional media outlets, from DDVG, the holding company of the division of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Financial terms were not disclosed. Parallel to the sale of the stake held by DDVG, the Madsack is also acquiring the 60% stake in the DDV from the Bertelsmann media group, which means that, after both transactions have been completed, the Madsack publishing company will become a 100% shareholder of all shares in the DDV Mediengruppe holds.
